WHO IS THIS COURSE FOR?

My Parenting Intensive retreat is a solution focussed, pragmatic and effective approach to creating more harmony at home, and finally understanding your children, their behaviour, and knowing how to bring out the best in them.

Changing your parenting story is never a quick fix, but maybe you need a jump start to get yourself and your partner into action and by experiencing the impact some powerful consistent techniques can give you both, you’ll be motivated to continue to learn, as you finally create that united front.

My retreat is designed to gain immediate traction in such a way that most people progress through three months’ worth of parent coaching in two or three days.

Is this you?

Do you ever feel as if this is your day-to-day reality:

  • You feel like shouting or losing your temper is the only way to get your children to respond?

  •  You feel overwhelmed and exhausted to the point where you’re struggling to cope and don’t know what to do to change things?

  • You feel like you’ve got no control over your children, and the nagging, repeating and reminding is draining

  • You feel the tactics you’re using – like sending your child to their room or removing screens and gadgets– aren’t effective... it just escalates the situation, with both of you getting angry.

  • You worry you’re failing as a parent, and worry about the impact on your children

You’ve tried to tackle all of this and make things better.

But parenting is relentless. Parenting is tough.

Especially when you don’t have the support and guidance you need, and time is a scarce resource.

Would you like a calmer and happier home life as your children:

  • Become more cooperative, motivated and have increased confidence, less stress and more creativity.

  • Develop more emotional intelligence (self-awareness, empathy and resilience) and you and your child have close connection and communication.

  • Absorb good values and behave appropriately while still being true to themselves.

  • Become more independent and self-reliant, gaining valuable life skills and freeing up quality time for you and them.

  • Cultivate better sibling relations, squabbling less and being able to resolve conflicts.

Wouldn’t it be good to finally get that parenting toolkit you wished you’d had from the beginning, and to absorb it over an intensive couple of days, with no distractions, shortcutting having to invest time over 3 months in my Signature Programme.

What will we cover on the Intensive Retreat?

This is bespoke to your own unique family and children’s needs

The process starts with your completing background information forms, so you have clarity on where the hot spot areas are in your family life and you are clear about what your concerns and goals are. You will have a full personalised assessment of your parenting style and we’ll spend time exploring each of your children’s temperament and make up.

The VIP Parenting Intensive Retreat will include what is described below and a lot more. We explore how to connect and communicate, how to validate children’s feelings, how to use discipline positively so that each mistake becomes a teachable opportunity and how to be in charge in a firm and positive way.

My work and toolkit are based on deep psychological research, but I present it in an easy to understand and accessible way so you can implement the tools immediately into your family life.

Parents leave feeling optimistic and hopeful and able to look at the children with more empathy and understanding and secure in the knowledge they now have the tools to remain calm in the face of button pushing behaviour.

Frequently Asked Questions

To be allowed to drive a car you need to pass both theoretical and practical tests so that you don't become a danger to yourself and others. For all except the most rudimentary jobs, certain qualifications are required, and for the more complex jobs, years of training. Yet for one of the most challenging and vitally important occupations--parenting-no training or qualifications are required.”
